    Refund Policy

    This policy covers refunds for all paid subscriptions on dachecker.io. Payments are processed by Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle"), who acts as our Merchant of Record, and refunds are issued through Paddle. Our refund window is 7 days from the date of first purchase.

    1. 7 day money-back guarantee

    If you are not satisfied with your subscription for any reason, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial purchase date. This applies to first-time purchases of any paid plan (Basic, Plus, Agency, or Unlimited).

    To request a refund within the 7 day window, email us at support@dachecker.io with the subject "Refund Request" and your registered email address. We will process it within 5 business days. The refund goes back to your original payment method via Paddle.

    The 7 day money-back guarantee applies once per customer. It does not apply to plan renewals after the first billing cycle.

    2. Renewals

    After the initial 7-day period, subscriptions are non-refundable. Your subscription will automatically renew each month. If you do not wish to renew, you must cancel before your renewal date. We do not issue refunds for renewal charges once they have been processed.

    When you cancel, you keep access to your plan until the end of the period you already paid for. After that your account moves to the free tier.

    3. Upgrades and downgrades

    Upgrades take effect right away. Paddle charges a pro-rated amount for the rest of your current billing cycle.

    Downgrades start from your next billing cycle. No refund or credit is given for the price difference within the current cycle.

    4. When we do not issue refunds

    Refunds will not be given in these cases:

    • Renewal charges after the initial 7 day period
    • Accounts that have been suspended or terminated due to a violation of our Terms of Service
    • Downgrade differences within a billing cycle
    • Custom plan fees (these are agreed separately and are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing)
    • Requests made after the 7 day guarantee window
    • Where significant usage has occurred (e.g. plan quota has been largely consumed)

    5. How refunds are processed

    Refunds are handled by Paddle on our behalf. Once we approve your request, Paddle reverses the charge to your original payment method. This usually takes 5 to 10 business days depending on your bank.

    You will get a confirmation email from Paddle when your refund is on the way. If you do not hear back within 5 business days of our approval, email us and we will follow up.

    6. Chargebacks

    Please contact us before filing a chargeback with your bank. Most issues can be sorted out quickly. Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may result in your account being paused while we investigate.

    If a chargeback is filed, Paddle as Merchant of Record will handle the dispute process on our behalf.

    7. Service outages

    If dachecker.io is down for more than 24 hours in a row during your billing month and you cannot use your plan, get in touch. We will look at each case and may offer a credit toward your next billing cycle.
